General Terms and Conditions of Business
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries by Paula Hermann to consumers and german law applies to all purchases.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose which can predominantly be attributed neither to his commercial nor his independent professional activity.
2. Contracting party

3. Conclusion of contract
3.1 The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but only an invitation to order.
3.2 By clicking on the button [Add to cart / order for a fee / pay] you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. Your purchase contract is concluded when I accept your order by sending you an order confirmation by e-mail immediately after receiving your order. I will need 3-7 days to prepare the order for transit. A tracking number will be provided once the package is shipped.
4. Right of cancellation
4.1 If you are a consumer ordering from my store (i.e. a natural person who places the order for a purpose that cannot be attributed to your commercial or self-employed professional activity), you have a right of cancellation in accordance with the statutory provisions.
4.2 If you as a consumer make use of your right of cancellation in accordance with section 4.1, you must bear the regular costs of returning the goods.
4.3 In all other respects, the right of cancellation is subject to the provisions set out in detail in the following

Right of cancellation
All orders have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform Paula Hermann, Häherweg 10 , 26188 Edewecht, Tel. +49 152 31912397, hello@paulahermann.com, of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You can use the attached sample cancellation form. If you make use of this option, I will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt of such a cancellation (e.g. by e-mail).
In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of cancellation before the expiry of the cancellation period.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, I will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by me) and the included 7% taxes, without undue delay inside 14 days after receiving the goods back. For this repayment, I will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
The return policy doesn't apply to commissioned artwork.
You must return or hand over the goods to Paula Hermann, Häherweg 10, 26188 Edewecht immediately and in any case within fourteen days of the day on which you inform me of the cancellation of this contract at the latest. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. If the package is sent without sufficient shipping insurance, you will be liable for any possible shipping damage to the item.
Buyer is responsible for loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition

5 Prices and shipping costs
5.1 The prices stated on the product pages include VAT (7 % taxes) and other price components.
5.2 I offer worldwide shipping and the cost of shipping will be calculated at the check out
6 Delivery
6.1 I offer an fast checkout and worldwide delivery. Customer simply adds their address at the checkout and the shipping cost will be calculated, optional free pickup at my studio in 26188 Edewecht
6.2 Usually packages are sent with DHL / DHL Express and the the delivery time with DHL is normally around 1-3 business days after dispatch in Germany. EU shipping can normally take up to 7 business days, sometimes longer. Rest of the world normally 3-14 business days.
6.3 Pick ups: A pickup at my studio in Germany at Häherweg 10, 26188 Edewecht is available and the pickup option can be chosen at the checkout. I need 2-3 business days to prepare pick up orders and I will get in contact with the customer to arrange a pick up time. Normally pickups are available Mondays to Fridays from 12-18.00. If the customers chooses to pay per bank transfer and personally pick it up, the payment needs to be received at the time of pickup.
6.4 Lost packages: It is the buyer's responsibility to track and claim the package once it has been sent. I do not offer refunds and cannot be held accountable for lost or stolen packages after delivery by the courier, or for items not received due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout. Refunds are not issued for packages that are returned to me. Many postal services or couriers will send packages back if they go unclaimed for a certain period. If your package is returned to me after being unclaimed, Paula Hermann will contact the buyer to arrange a second shipment. In such cases, buyers are responsible for covering the cost of reshipping, as well of possible shipment costs for the package getting returned to Paula Hermann.
6.5 Shipping related damage: In a case of shipping related damage, contact and notify me per email hello@paulahermann.com with clear and good pictures of both of the unopened package and of the damaged item
6.6 Customs: EU: The movement of goods from Germany and within the European Union are free of custom charges between the EU member states.
Outside the EU and rest of the world: The needed export and customs documents will be filled out by me and also for orders over 1000 Euros I will declare the goods at customs and the buyers are responsible for covering any customs and import taxes required by their country. I am is not liable for delays caused by customs.
7. Payment
7.1 Payment can be made either by Stripe, Paypal or bank transfer. Stripe accepts most credit cards: Visa (credit & debit cards), MasterCard (credit and debit cards) and American Express. I also accept Apple Pay from customers checking out on a supported device.
7.2 If you choose the payment method bank transfer, after an Email contact from your side, I will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation and deliver the goods after receiving of payment.
8 Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
